Cucumber Raita
Maybe tzatziki is just cucumber and garlic and yoghurt while raita has onion with spices sprinkled in the end.

Cucumber Raita
Prep time: 15 mins Total time: 15mins
Ingredients:
- 1 small cucumber, skin on.
- 1 heaped tsp finely chopped onion or a shallot,
- 1 cup of yogurt plain
- a few tablespoons of water
- juice of 1/2 lime
- pinch dried red chili powder
- pinch ground cumin
- salt
- pinch of sugar
Instructions:
- Finely chop the cucumber.
- Place in a bowl along with the onion, garlic and yoghurt. Squeeze the lime juice and season with salt and add the pinch of sugar. Mix well, add a few tablespoons of water to thin it down and loosen it up. Taste adjust salt.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, sprinkle with the dried red chili powder and ground cumin.
- serve with biryani or a pulau.
