Breaded Fish
My mum makes these very often and she uses tuna. It is usually over before it even reaches the table. It is great with chips.
Fish fillet, cut into thin slices, use any firm fish, my favourite is tuna
1/2 Lime or lemon juice
Chilli garlic sauce( if making for kids use tomato ketchup or sweet chilli sauce) I used for 150g fish about 1 tsp sauce) you can use depending on your taste
Salt/ pepper
Dried bread crumbs, seasoned with a little pepper and salt
Egg beaten
Oil for deep frying
Mix sauce, and lemon juice into the fish slices along with salt and pepper. Set aside for about 30 minutes in the fridge.
Dip the fish slices in egg then in seasoned bread crumbs.
Deep fry till nice and brown in hot oil.
Serve with chips and sauce. I made this sauce for MAF using a tablespoon of cooked green peas mashed, mixed with a tablespoon of mayonnaise, a little lemon juice and salt and pepper.
wonderful.. looks yummy. I love fried fish but never do a bread coated one.. will try your version. Thanks..
