How to peel peppers

Sometimes a recipe calls for peeled peppers.  I have discovered that this method is  quite  a fun thing to do, rather than chucking it into the oven. So here is how I  peel them :

Place your pepper right on the stove, turn it around with the help of a pair of tongs,

Once the skin is all blackened, place it in a bowl ( i used to put in running water but it ended up washing up all the flavors ) Cover the bowl with cling film,

Let it cool in the bowl , then rub the skin off with your fingers and a small knife.  Cut in half and scoop out the seeds and cut into strips of what ever way that its required
