Conrad Rangali Island Beach Resort

A week ago my hubby came home with the news that he had been invited to go to a health fair that was organised by Conrad Resort.  The fair was part of their giving back to community kind of thing which was held on a nearby island of Fenfushi. The resort administration had called him and two other doctors over for this and invited the families to come along, all expenses paid!.
So off we went by seaplane (  Trans Maldivian, )   a 30-minute ride, from  Ibrahim Nasir International Airport.

Conrad Resort is two islands joined by a bridge.

We were given a beachfront villa, with our own little pool, and a small path that led straight to the beach.

What more can you ask, for those who want a little more adventure, the island did offer loads of water activities and even a kids club with a playground and a splash pad for some water activity.
While my hubby was busy the whole day at the fair, the boys and I and another mum and her kids went off on a glass-bottomed boat to check out the reef.

Loads of beautiful fishes on the reef.

The food was ok ( I had high expectations),we tried just two restaurants, the Atoll Market and Rangali Bar but there are loads of other restaurants to try and of course, we got to visit ( not dine) the world-famous Ithaa restaurant, the first undersea restaurant in the world.

Would have loved to dine there but maybe another if we got a chance to go again.

The main pool was stunning, it looked like it was part of the beach and had a kiddie pool right next to it.

But what really stood out was the service!! Always ready to help and assist in anything and were great with kids as well!. So a big thumbs up for the service!!!  So a big thank you to the Conrad resort, for making it a short but memorable two-day stay for us ( wish we could have stayed the whole weekend though :) )

So those visiting I leave you with the peaceful site of sunrise.....  the sheer quiet, just the sound of waves gently crashing or rather lapping onto  beach, and the chirping of birds, I had some peace and quiet.......

It's madness on the street these few days :( , I could use another trip like that and hopefully these politicians will stop mud-slinging and start building a country rather than create havoc.
